Message dated May 1 was read, stating the House failed to concur in                                 
the Senate amendment to HOUSE BILL NO. 69 and respectfully                                          
requests the Senate to recede from its amendment, namely:

          SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 69(RES) "An                                                  
          Act relating to regulation of shallow natural gas                                         
          leasing and closely related energy projects; and                                          
          providing for an effective date."                                                         
                                                                                                    
Message dated May 2 was read, stating the House respectfully                                        
requests the return of HOUSE BILL NO. 69 and SENATE CS FOR                                          
HOUSE BILL NO. 69.
